Boys’ Junior Academy take part in 12 mile walk ahead of UAE trip

Durham Cricket Boys’ Junior Academy enjoyed a 12 mile walk to raise funds for their trip to the United Arab Emirates this January.

14 youngsters from across the region took part in the walk from Banks Homes Riverside to the Stadium of Light the home of Sunderland Football Club.

The youngsters were accompanied by Durham Cricketers Graham Clark and Ben Raine alongside Men’s Pathway coaches Cole Pearce, James Lowe and Stuart Poytner.

The team will depart for the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday 31 December spending 10 days in the Gulf to complete in the Under 16s Gulf Cup – playing a number of games against local opposition.
