Assessors from the national tourist board, Visit Britain, visited establishments in the region and marked them in several areas including cleanliness, quality of menu, use of local produce and quality of service.
The report stated that Austins was ‘a very pleasant and relaxing environment. The recent refurbishment has resulted in a well presented, attractive, bar and dining area which is spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and approachable.”
Austins is open seven days a week for coffees and light snacks as well as an exciting new a la carte menu which has been created using fresh, local produce.

Our regulars always give us great feedback and we’re looking forward to welcoming some new faces. Austins is a great venue and our new menu is a real treat for food lovers!”
