Positive response following Durham Defender announcement

Following yesterday’s announcement regarding memberships, Durham Cricket are delighted with the response to the Durham Defender.

Our members have once again proven to be loyal and understanding as we do our best to ensure the long-term security of the club and to put us in a strong position to move forward both on and off the field and as a club we would like to send a big thank you, to you all for the positive responses shown toward this initiative.

In just over 24 hours, many members have been in touch to say they are willing to donate their 2020 membership to the club and this is gratefully received from all at Durham Cricket.

All current 2020 members will receive a letter in the post within the next two weeks, with full details of the options available and how they can select their preferences.

Since the initial announcement, we have received enquires asking if 2020 memberships can still be purchased with the option to become a Durham Defender ahead of 2021. For those wishing to do so, 2020 memberships can be purchased from Monday. Our box office will reopen from Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm at Emirates Riverside or they can be contacted at box.office@durhamcricket.co.uk or 0191 387 1717.
