Admission prices frozen for 2009

Adult tickets will be priced at £12 when purchased in advance or £15 if bought on the day of the game.  Junior tickets for any domestic cricket played at Riverside will remain at £5 when purchased in advance or £6 on the day of the match.

The Twenty20 Cup is set to attract even more attention in the North East after the Dynamos made it to Finals Day last season – they will be looking to go one step further in 2009 by claiming the winner’s trophy so the group stage matches are set to be thrilling.

We’re expecting huge crowds for our first ever weekend Twenty20 Cup match on Sunday 31 May against Notts Outlaws and for our Friday night fixture against Lancashire Lightning on 26 June so book your tickets now to avoid missing out! Five match passes for all group stage matches at Riverside have also been frozen at 2008 rates, with an adult pass priced at £40 and a junior pass set at £20.

Durham County Cricket Club Director of Marketing, Mark Foster, said: “The team’s performances last season won them a lot of fans and we want to encourage them to keep coming to Riverside to support the team as they defend their LV County Championship title.

“The team have produced some truly exciting cricket over the past few seasons and we want as many sports fans as possible to come along and support the team.  In the current economic climate a really great day out watching a competitive sports match really can lift your spirits and to be able to do this at a reasonable price is always very important.”
