21st Anniversary Celebrations

Look forward to a jam packed weekend of events from a beer and wine festival to a ‘Great Cricket Cake Off’ baking competition with a wonderful fun day that the whole family can enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE: Live music at the Beer & Wine Festival will no longer go ahead as we have sadly been let down by the band we had booked. A sound system is in place so there will be music to add to the great atmosphere!

Come along and try our fantastic selection of beers and ciders, whether you are a beer connoisseur or simply want to experience your first beer festival, this event will have something for everyone!

For all those who prefer the taste of grapes rather than hops we also have a range of fine wines available.

A selection of food will also be available throughout our celebrations to soak up all of that beer!

Come along and enjoy a great atmosphere!

Come along and get your first glimpse of the Durham stars as Durham County Cricket Club take on Durham UCCE.

The beer and wine festival will be in full swing throughout the day!

For all those who won’t be participating in the beer and wine festival, the NHS Give Blood team will be based at the cricket ground throughout the day taking much needed blood donations. For further information on giving blood please click the following link NHS Give Blood

Tickets are for beer and wine festival are priced at £10.00 per ticket and are available by clicking on the following link Beer & Wine Festival

Plus, there’s lots more going on throughout the day with plenty of fun activities for the little ones, including a funfair with rides for all ages, a face painter, cricketing action, as well as our club mascot Chester the Lion who will be here to meet everyone!!!!

Fancy stepping back in time? Beamish Museum will also be joining in the celebration, bringing along a whole host of traditional toys, games and activities for the entire family to enjoy.  Master the art of ‘boolers’, test your aim in a game of quoits or have a go in a wooden go-kart.  Try on a period costume (don’t forget your camera!) and have a go at guessing just what the mystery objects are.
