Durham Second XI fixtures for 2020 announced

Durham’s Second XI will begin their Championship campaign against Sussex at Preston Nomands with the full 2020 fixture list now released.

2020 will see changes to the Second Eleven playing schedule, with the Second Eleven Championship now mirroring the First Eleven County Championship, with matches being played over four days, with 96 overs scheduled each day.

With the introduction of four-day cricket for the Second XI and more T20 cricket being played, there will be no 50 over one-day cup in 2020, with Durham playing a number of one day friendlies throughout the summer, with games against Yorkshire and Lancashire confirmed.

In what is a busy May schedule, the Second XI have a month of T20 action with away fixtures against Leicestershire at the Fischer County Ground and Derbyshire at Glossop CC.

Arundel will again host T20 Finals Day on Thursday, 18 June and Durham will look to make finals day for the fourth time in four years.

A full list of the Second Eleven fixtures for 2020 can be found by clicking here. A number of venues are still to be confirmed and will be added to the site once they have been agreed.
