During these sessions, participants will learn paint mixing and decorative techniques while working on recycled glass. The classes are free to attend, with all materials provided and no experience is needed. It’s a great opportunity to try a new creative hobby and join a friendly community.

Durham Cricket Foundation is proud to upcycle materials and is grateful for the generous donations from Pinesway Glass, making these sessions possible.

More craft sessions:

Durham Cricket Foundation runs a range of welcoming craft sessions where people can learn new creative skills, meet others and enjoy time in a friendly community environment.

Our regular sessions include embroidery, glass painting, crochet and knitting group (called Crafty Needles). Sessions take place in our own classroom at Banks Homes Riverside, overlooking the cricket ground, giving participants a lovely view while they craft.

The sessions are free to attend, with all materials provided and participants can enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee while taking part.

Our friendly groups are led by our fantastic craft instructor Angela, who supports participants to learn new techniques, develop their creativity and enjoy crafting together.
