Safe Hands Courses

We are committed to continue to provide an environment that is safe, welcoming and friendly for children to enjoy the game of cricket.

Safe hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children provides the framework and the tools for the whole game to take up the challenge of continuously improving the cricket environment for children and young people.

Safe Hands ensures that the many thousands of coaches and volunteers integral to the game are supported.

The Policy is backed up by a comprehensive training and education programme, a structured implementation plan and a sensitive process to respond to concerns.

Once appointed, your Club Safeguarding Officer will be able to attend a training course regarding their role, requirements and responsibilities.

2024 Courses

Our Safe Hands courses are free of charge and are suitable for both new club safeguarding officers, who need to complete the Safe Hands course for the first time, and excising officers, who need to attend a refresher.

The face-to-face course will give candidates a certificate valid for three years and all courses take place at Seat Unique Riverside.
