SEND Player Pathway Programme
Durham Cricket Foundation is committed to developing disability cricket making it accessible to all within the County by offering various provisions.
As part of this we are looking to launch a brand new SEND player pathway programme.
The SEND Player Pathway Programme is being created to support the continued development of competent SEND cricketers in our Super 1s hubs and local cricket clubs to provide competitive and friendly game opportunities. Players in this programme will access monthly training sessions with our highly committed and specialised coaches.
Due to the nature of the sessions/ matches, we are initially looking at SEND cricketers who can cope well with the high demands, different environments and standard of cricket.
The SEND Player Pathway Programme will run regular trials and only the players selected can attend the programme.
This is a project which is still in development but we are actively looking for people who would be interested in getting involved.
The sessions will offer fun and enjoyable cricket sessions for participants with learning and/or physical disability and will be open to all ages and abilities. All of the sessions will be led by our highly committed and qualified coaches.
SEND Player Pathway Programme Trials (10am-12pm)
