Matthew Potts has been signed by the Dubai Capitals for the upcoming DP World ILT20 campaign.
Potts was picked up by the Dubai-based side for $10,000 and will head out for the tournament in the United Arab Emirates – held between November 22 and December 20.
The seamer was Durham’s top wicket taker in the Vitality Blast earlier this year, claiming 19 scalps during the T20 group stages.
Potts will join a bowling attack with the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Noor Ahmad, Luke Wood and Mark Adair while Phil Salt and Faf du Plessis will lead the bating lineup at the top of the order.
The Dubai Capitals enjoyed success in the tournament’s third edition, lifting the title in 2025 and will be looking to reclaim their crown.
