Ben Raine and Alex Lees have been drafted in the Canada Super 60 League.
After impressive campaigns in the Vitality Blast, the Durham duo have been selected in the week-long T10 franchise competition running from 29 September – 4 October.
Lees was picked up by Mississauga Masters after compiling 473 runs at an average of 39 in 12 Blast appearances scoring his second T20 career century against Middlesex alongside three fifties.
Raine put together another impressive T20 campaign to earn a deal with the Brampton Blitz, taking 17 wickets in 11 matches with a best of 4/21 coming against Lancashire Lightning.
Raine is set to turn out alongside Jonny Bairstow, Tom Curran, James Vince and Tymal Mills while Lees will link up with the likes of Sikandar Raza, Colin Munro, Richard Gleeson and Saif Zaib.
This represents a first franchise deal for Alex Lees while Ben Raine signs his first foreign franchise deal since representing New Zealand side Otago in 2019, having been a regular in The Hundred.
