Alfie Blenkiron and George Stewart in the runs as Durham Boys’ Under 15s lift North East Midlands T20 Cup with five wins from five matches.
Durham opened up their Group B campaign with a 42-run victory over Derbyshire at Worksop College, posting 179/6 before restricting the Midlands side to 137/7.
The Young Ds then backed this up with victory over Lincolnshire where Oliver Jenkins (48*) and Zac Barton (41) led the way with the bat as Durham scored 175/8 in their 20 overs.
Five wickets were then shared around the Durham bowlers- plus a run out, as Lincolnshire could only reach 119/5 in response.
The North East side then made it three from three to top their group with a nine-wicket victory over Nottinghamshire.
Lenon Harmison and Joel Soppit picked up three wickets apiece while there were two scalps for Sam Hood and one for George Stewart as Notts put 131/9 on the board.
Durham then raced to a dominant win inside 15 overs as Alfie Blenkiron (51*) and George Stewart (52*) struck unbeaten half-centuries.
Lenon Harmison then led the way with the ball again taking 3/19 backed up by four wickets shared between Harry Simpson and Soppitt while Sam Hood added one as Staffordshire scored 124/8.
Durham lost two early wickets bet Blenkiron and Stewart led Durham home once more sharing a third-wicket partnership of 125 from 79 balls to secure a spot in the final within 14 overs.
Blenkiron struck 11 boundaries in his unbeaten 62 while Stewart cleared the rope on eight occasions in his 63 not out.
The Young Ds put Lancashire into bat in the final at Cuckney and limited the Red Rose to just 117/9 with Simpson and Harmison both striking twice while Harry Walker, Parker Lowe and Soppit claimed a wicket each.
Henry Wilds top scored with 42, backed up by 37 from Walker as Durham cruised to a six-wicket win with three overs to spare.
