Walking Cricket

Walking cricket is cricket as we know it, but no running is allowed – you have to walk to score your runs.

This competitive but gentle-paced version of the game is a great way to keep fit and come back to the game you love or start for the first time.

The format is played with plastic equipment and a softball. A session would consist of quick warm-up drills and small games before a game of walking cricket.

The sessions are open to participants of any ability and experience, with the format allowing everyone an equal chance at the game.

You’ll be joining a very social sport, filled with team spirit and a supportive atmosphere.

All walking cricket sessions are free and equipment is provided.
