Raine targets Volts success

Durham all-rounder Ben Raine is hoping to pave the way for Super Smash success after joining Otago Volts.

Raine travelled to New Zealand earlier this week to join up with his new team mates in the country’s premier T20 competition.

He is expected to go straight into the XI on Sunday for their next game, against Central Stags at the University of Otago Oval.

Otago have already made a solid start to the season, sitting second with two wins & a defeat after three matches & will be boosted by Raine’s arrival.

The 27-year-old has been training with Durham’s squad during the winter after re-signing from Leicestershire for the upcoming 2019 season.

Raine will be joined by fellow Englishman & current Worcestershire Rapids wicketkeeper Ben Cox.
