Notts fixture to be played at Grantham

Nottinghamshire have confirmed the Royal London One-Day Cup fixture against Durham on Friday, 3 May will take place at Grantham.

The match will be played at Gorse Lane, home of Grantham Cricket Club & regular host of Lincolnshire’s minor counties side.

Durham’s 2nd XI have already experienced the ground in a 2nd XI Trophy match against Notts’ second string early in the 2018 season, but it will be Grantham’s first time hosting a First XI fixture.

“We’re confident that everything is in place and we are looking forward to putting a show on there, both for locals and for our members and travelling supporters,” said Mick Newell, Nottinghamshire’s Director of Cricket.

Durham played three matches in Grantham during the Minor Counties days – 1895, 1912 & 1914 – at the old London Road ground.
