14th November 2017 Health and Wellbeing

This is a pilot project being delivered by Success and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys child and adolescent mental health services.

Parents and carers of children and young people who are experiencing mental health problems can get support by attending the Rollercoaster support group. The group offers a safe place to talk and be supported, along with the opportunity to learn practical coping tips, hear from guest speakers and meet other people in similar situations.

Durham County Cricket Foundation has partnered up with Success in order to provide support to campaigning for raising the profile around the stigma of Mental Health. We support the group with health and social messaging entrenched within the traditional game of cricket.

The project runs monthly on the first Wednesday of every month, 10.00-12.00
