Durham squad return to indoor school for second stage of pre-season

After a delayed return to pre-season for the Durham squad, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the professional playing group have now returned as they prepare for the 2021 season.

Having returned for fitness and gym work in December, the squad have now begun their second stage of pre-season by moving over to the indoor cricket school at Emirates Riverside.

Despite the United Kingdom being in its third national lockdown, the Durham squad and coaching staff can continue to prepare for the season due to First-Class cricket being recognised by the government as an elite sport.

Following the national guidelines, the playing squad are working in small groups to follow social distance protocols put in place.

Durham Cricket TV spent the day in the indoor school at Emirates Riverside, to see the guys in action during their first week back. Check out the action below.
