England v Australia ticket update

Tonight Durham Cricket should have been hosting England v Australia in the first IT20 international of the summer, which has unfortunately been postponed due to COVID-19.

The club would like to once again assure all ticket holders for this fixture that they will receive a full refund.

We are currently working with the ECB and the insurance company to ensure this process is completed soon and we will let fans know when they can expect a refund next week.

Due to current circumstances this process has taken longer than usual and we’d like to apologise to all fans for the delay.

Tim Bostock, Durham Cricket, Chief Executive said: “Today would have been a brilliant night for all cricket fans in the North East.

“It’s such a shame we aren’t welcoming everyone to Emirates Riverside for what would have been an exciting fixture between England and Australia.

“International cricket is something all fans in the region look forward to seeing and we can’t wait to welcome it back next year.

“I would like to thank the fans and our members for the superb support and understanding they have shown through this difficult period for everyone.

“We can’t wait to see you all back at Emirates Riverside soon.”
