Access Pass Ep 2: Highs & lows

Michael Richardson started the Royal London One-Day Cup in sensational form, scoring a hundred in the opening win over Northamptonshire.

It is a format Richardson has excelled in over the years & was set again to make his mark.

But it soon all paled into insignificance. His newborn baby, Jack, was rushed into hospital & the 32-year-old relinquished his place in the side to be with his son & partner, Kate.

He missed two away games but was recalled immediately once available, against Derbyshire at Emirates Riverside. Richardson responded with an emotional, match-winning 72 not out.

Looking set to get his season up-and-running from there, a cruel thumb break in the nets forced him out yet again.

This is Access Pass Episode 2, where Richardson explains in his own words the highs & lows he has been through over the last two months.
